WAGS convergences 4/29, 5/6

Wahkiakum Acoustic Guitar Society has two convergences scheduled:

--Wed., April 29, 7 p.m. at the home of Rob Stockhouse, 62 West Birnie Slough Road, Cathlamet.
--Wed., May 6, 7 p.m., at the home of Rick and Mary Ann Nelson, 370 East Birnie Slough Road, Cathlamet

Flamencos and other LC guitar players

Greetings from Cathlamet, Washington, near the mouth of the Columbia River. It's not exactly an area with lots of Gitanos, but there are a few flamenco fans around. I'm one; I've been trying to learn to play the guitar since 1971. Flamenco is rhythmic music and full of vitality. Perhaps this blog will lead to connections with other flamencos.

I belong to a group known as the Wahkiakum Acoustic Guitar Society. We are a bunch of guitar aficionados and meet twice a month on first and last Wednesdays to jam and play songs. I'll post those dates in another area of this blog.
